A cold front moving through the region will cause temperatures during the day Sunday to be falling. By Sunday night temperatures will have fallen into the single digits.

By Monday morning the arctic air will have settled over Mid-Missouri with temperatures near zero to start the day. Monday morning a light northern breeze will create a wind chill of 10-15 degrees below zero.

During the afternoon Monday temperatures will struggle to warm into the low teens with wind chills just below zero all day. Another frigid night will be in store Monday night. Temperatures will likely fall just below zero by Tuesday morning with wind chills once again 10-15 below.

Fortunately, a warm up will begin after Tuesday, temperatures will be near 40 by Thursday.
