Another cold front will move through mid-Missouri early in the day Wednesday shifting our winds to the northwest. Temperatures will reach near 30 Wednesday but quickly fall during the evening hours as winds increase to 20 mph, gusting to 30 mph at times. It will be very cold by 10 pm Wednesday with temperatures in the low teens and wind chills falling below zero.
Thursday will start with low temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees but the northerly winds will make those temperatures feel like 10 to 15 below zero. The arctic air will settle in during the day keeping our high temperatures in the teens under partly cloudy skies. Northwesterly winds will diminish through the afternoon.
