Recent rains and runoff associated with snow melt from upstream locations have many rivers and tributaries rising, prompting flood warnings in parts of mid-Missouri. Here are the flood stages and forecast crest for points along the Missouri river.
Missouri River: Flood Stage Forecast Crest
Boonville: 21 ft. Saturday at 23.4 ft.
Chamois: 17 ft. Monday at 18.5 ft
Gasconade: 22 ft. Monday at 24.3 ft.
Hermann: 21 ft. Monday at 22.1 ft.
The Missouri river is forecast to stay below flood stage at Jefferson City.

For those staying up late worried about the weather, head to bed! The severe storms threat has diminished across mid-Missouri. A few isolated thundershowers are still possible in our extreme northern and eastern counties overnight along with some small hail & gusty winds. No life-threatening weather is expected overnight in mid-Missouri.
A Tornado Watch has been issued for parts of mid-Missouri, south of I-70 until 2 a.m. A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes.
A Severe T-Storm Warning has been issued for western sections of Benton County for a t-storm capable of producing quarter size hail. The storm is just west of Warsaw and moving north at 45 mph.
Thunderstorms continue to develop across mid-Missouri this afternoon. These are producing frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, heavy downpours and small hail. These will continue to move north through early evening. A line of stronger storms will move through later in the evening and will have the potential of producing damaging winds and large hail. A Severe T-Storm Warning has been issued for Camden county until 5 pm. A thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail located 13 miles northeast of Buffalo is moving northeast at 40 mph.
