Timing Rain- Monday Night through Wednesday

Submitted by Sharon Ray on Sun Mar 7, 2010 10:31pm (BACK TO TOP)

A slow moving storm system will bring several rounds of showers and isolated thunderstorms to mid-Missouri from Monday night through Friday. Severe weather is not expected.  The first round of rain will move in after midnight Monday night through Tuesday morning with a few afternoon showers possible Tuesday with highs in the 50s. Here is a look at the timing of the rain for Monday night through Tuesday.

Wednesday looks like a fairly dry day with sunshine for the first half of the day, sending temperatures into the lower 60s by afternoon. A few isolated t-storms are possible Wednesday afternoon but most of the rain will hold off until late evening and overnight as another wave of low pressure moves through.

A Mild Start to the Work Week

Submitted by Sharon Ray on Sun Mar 7, 2010 6:48pm (BACK TO TOP)

The work week will get off to a great start with spring-like temperatures and dry weather. Expect some patchy early morning fog and clouds hanging around much of the day. Although we won't see much sunshine, temperatures will warm into the lower 60s by afternoon with southeast winds to 10 mph. It will stay dry during the day Monday but overnight, rain will be moving in.
