After a chilly and dry day Tuesday, temperatures will start to get back to normal for this time of year for the last half of the work week. It will be breezy Wednesday with southerly winds gusting up to 30 mph and afternoon temperatures reaching into the upper 50s. An upper level disturbance will bring a chance of showers by early evening, continuing overnight and ending by early Thursday morning.
Thursday will be mild with afternoon high temperatures near 60 with southerly winds shifting to the northwest late in the day as a cold front moves through. Scattered showers and t-storms are expected to develop ahead of this front in the afternoon and move east. No severe weather is expected.
Cooler air settles in Friday with high temperatures near 50. Another quick moving upper level disturbance will bring a chance of light showers to mid-Missouri during the afternoon-evening with mostly cloudy skies.
