Temperatures will be well below average the next few days with cold nights and cool days. The first freeze of the season is expected Wednesday morning and temperatures only climbing into the low 50s during the afternoon with a slight chance of light rain. Frost is possible early morning Thursday with lows just above freezing. Dry, cold air settles over the region Thursday keeping our afternoon temperatures in the 40s with overnight lows in the upper 20s and widespread frost.

Saturday will be the warmest day of the weekend with high temperatures near 60. A cold front moving through late Saturday night will drop temperatures a few degrees for Sunday but we will stay dry.
