TODAY: We have a beautiful weekend in store across Mid-Missouri. After a bit of a chilly start to our Saturday, we will warm up nicely today under plenty of sunshine to near 60 degrees. Winds will be out of the southeast at 10-15 mph. With those drier winds and low relative humidity values we will see a heightened fire risk today so any outdoor burning is discouraged today.
TONIGHT: Skies will remain clear tonight as temperatures fall back to the middle to upper 30s for lows. Winds will remain out of the southeast around 10 mph.
EXTENDED: We'll again be close to 60 degrees on Sunday, but clouds will be on the increase throughout the afternoon. We could see spotty showers early in the day but most will stay dry until Sunday night. We will notice winds picking up Sunday night as a cold front approaches. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue into Monday morning before tapering off by noon. The cool down begins Monday night as cooler air moves in. Tuesday will still be windy but much cooler with highs only topping out in the middle 40s. Winds will be gusting at times up to 30 mph. We're continuing to track another chance of showers Tuesday night as this slow moving system finally exits the region. Check back here and watch ABC 17 News for updates on the changing weather.
