Daily Forecast

Below freezing temperatures through the next 24 hours

THURSDAY: Temperatures today have been slow to rise from the chilly start to the day. All day it will feel more like the middle of winter as temperatures stay below freezing, only reaching into the low 30s, but with plenty of sun this afternoon to help you warm up just a little bit. However the icy northwest wind will make temperatures feel more like the upper teens to lower 20s through the afternoon. Winds will decrease by the evening.

TONIGHT: It will be coldest night yet this season with low temperatures in the mid to upper teens by the morning. Luckily winds will be a little lighter Friday morning, but still a southwesterly breeze up to 6 mph will bring wind chills down to the low teens under mostly clear skies. Clouds will begin to increase early in the day.

EXTENDED:   Winds will shift to the southwest up to 15 mph and help modify temperatures Friday afternoon, bumping our highs up to near 40 with increasing clouds. A few sprinkles are possible in our northeastern counties with some snow flurries possible early in the evening. Most of the snow will stay well to the northeast Friday night. Saturday will stay chilly with highs in the upper 30s but we'll warm up Sunday, reaching the upper 40s under partly cloudy skies. After a seasonal start to the week Monday, another cold front will move through, dropping temperatures again by next Tuesday with afternoon highs only in the 30s. We look to modify again by Wednesday as highs rise back into the mid 40s. Watch ABC17 news for the latest forecast and follow ABC17 Stormtrack on Twitter for updates.
