Bitterly cold air combined with northerly winds will produce dangerous wind chill temperatures Wednesday night into early Thursday. Temperatures will fall below zero Wednesday night with northwesterly winds at 5 to 10 mph through early Thursday. A combination of temperature and wind will make it feel like 10 to 20 below zero much of the night Wednesday.
Wind chills early Thursday morning will be as low as 20 below zero which can cause frostbite to exposed skin within 30 minutes. Through the day Thursday the light breeze will continue to produce wind chills near or just below zero as temperatures stay in the low 10s.
