Northwesterly flow will bring a parade of cold fronts through the area this week and likely into early next week as well. Ahead of each cold front, temperatures will briefly warm up before dropping as each front passes.
Cold air from Canada along with clear nights and light winds will help to bring chances for Mid-Missouri to have its first frost of the season Wednesday morning. There is a slight chance there could be frost Tuesday morning around the Ozarks, but the chance is higher Wednesday morning.
There is another chance for frost and possibly a hard freeze for parts of the area Friday morning. Lows could dip into the upper 20s early Friday.
