A strong cold front, more indicative of late-winter or early-spring, will move through Mid-Missouri Tuesday. The front will bring rain through midday and then showers into the early evening.
Rain amounts will range between .50" to 1" with some locations receiving higher amounts. Severe weather is not expected.
Temperatures will also drop through the day into the low 40s and upper 30s for the afternoon. Northwest winds will keep wind chills in the low 30s during the afternoon.
The rain will end Tuesday night and clouds will gradually clear out. Lows will be near freezing by Wednesday morning.
