After a warm and sunny end to the work week with highs in the mid 80s Thursday and Friday, a cold front is forecast to move through Mid-Missouri Saturday afternoon.

The front will bring cooler air for the end of the weekend, but also the best chance of rain for the next seven days. Forecast models continue to show a dry start to Saturday with highs reaching near 80 by mid-afternoon. Clouds will continue to move in and thicken during the afternoon with scattered showers and storms likely in the evening and the overnight.

Rain will be possible for much of the Mizzou game as showers should be increasing through the evening, before ending early Sunday morning. As of now, severe weather is not likely Saturday evening.
