The strong cold front that pushed through Monday night and early Tuesday morning is now southeast of Mid-Missouri, ushering in cool, drier northwest winds.
Temperatures will be much cooler with less humidity through Thursday, with lows in the middle to upper 60s and highs in the middle to upper 80s.
Heat and humidity return by Friday as a warm front lifts into the region. This warm front will give us a chance for showers and thunderstorms Friday and possibly into Saturday.
An upper level low pressure system centered over the Great Lakes will bring chances of showers and thunderstorms early next week.
