As a cold front begins to approach Mid-Missouri late Saturday, it will spark scattered showers and storms. Most of Saturday will be dry, with rain chances increase during the overnight.
Some storms may be strong or severe as they begin to enter NW Missouri, but the overall trend will be for storms to weaken overnight. If a storm is severe, damaging winds will be the main threat, followed by hail.
Scattered showers and isolated storms will be possible through the day on Sunday, but widespread rain is not likely. Drier and warm air returns by Monday.
