Following several days of frigid temperatures and snow, warmer weather will return with rain likely on Friday.

Friday morning temperatures will likely be in the low 30s before warming into the low-to-mid 40s for the afternoon.

Rain will move in for the late morning into the afternoon, lasting into the evening. Freezing rain may be briefly possible for areas north of I-70 late-Friday morning, but should quickly change to a cold rain.

Rain amounts of .25" to .75" are likely. The rain is especially beneficial as most of the area remains in the lowest levels of drought.
