High pressure is nearly centered over Mid-Missouri Wednesday, keeping winds light and a few scattered clouds over the area. Humidity will remain low through the next few days, making for very comfortable conditions.
Overnight, skies remain mostly clear with temperatures dropping into the upper 50s.
Late Thursday, an upper level wave bringing rain to the central Plains today will begin to move into southern Missouri, possibly clipping areas mainly south of Highway 50. Trace amounts of rain are expected.
Heat returns for the weekend as high temperatures reach the lower 80s Saturday, and then back into the upper 80s and lower 90s next week. Rain chances return on Sunday.
