Colder air moves into mid-Missouri early Friday morning along with a wave of low pressure which will bring light snow to the area. A band of snow will move into areas north of HWY 24 near 2-3 a.m. and spread to the southeast through daybreak. As the moisture moves south, some light sleet is possible south of HWY 50. Precipitation will move out by noon with clouds breaking up in the afternoon.
Snow amounts of an inch to two inches are possible to the northeast of a Moberly to Fulton line with lower amounts to the southwest. Temperatures will be below freezing in the morning and roads could be slick where precipitation occurs.
