It will feel  more like summer as the work week ends with high temperatures in the upper 80s and gusty southerly winds Friday. A cold front will move across the state from late Friday night through noon Saturday, bringing a line of showers and t-storms and much cooler air to mid-Missouri. The best chance of rain occurs Saturday morning with drier air moving in during the afternoon as temperatures fall.

Temperatures are expected to hold in the upper 60s through noon Saturday, falling into the 50s during the evening with overnight lows in the lower 40s as skies clear.
