Warm, moist air will move in Wednesday night bringing scattered showers and t-storms to mid-Missouri through early Thursday. Showers are expected to develop in the early evening to our southwest and spread over the region overnight. Showers will taper off in the morning Thursday and end as cooler air moves in during the afternoon.
There is a slight risk of severe storms which could contain large hail along and south of I-70 Wednesday night. Widespread severe storms are not expected but isolated storms with large hail are possible.
Rainfall amounts will range from of a tenth to quarter of an inch near I-44 with higher amounts of a half inch to an inch north.
