A cold front will approach mid-Missouri late Friday night, increasing our chances of showers and t-storms as we head into Saturday morning. A few t-storms are possible as early as midnight west of HWY 63 ahead of the front but a line of widespread rain and t-storms is more likely into early Saturday as it pushes from west to east. Severe storms are not expected. Showers will linger in our southeastern counties into Saturday afternoon but all areas will be dry by Saturday evening. Rainfall amounts of a quarter to a half inch are expected.
