It will feel like winter Friday as temperatures start off in the mid 30s, only reaching the low-to-mid 40s during the afternoon. Snow is possible near HWY 65 where minor accumulation of up to an inch is possible on grassy and elevated surfaces. A mix of snow, sleet and mostly rain is possible as far east as HWY 63 in the morning with rain changing to showers in the afternoon becoming less numerous into the evening.

The record low high temperature for May 3rd in Columbia is 48 from 1911 which we will likely break. The record low high temperature for the month of May is 43 set in 1940 and 1944 which we could tie or break Friday.
