Temperatures will be able to warm into the lower 90s Monday afternoon before a cold front moves through the area. The cold front will move into northern Missouri Monday evening, then push through Mid-Missouri late Monday night and overnight.
Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the cold front. These storms could become strong or severe. The best chance of storms becoming severe will be north of I-70, but there is a slight risk across all of Mid-Missouri. The main threats will be damaging winds and large hail. There is no threat of a tornado at this time.
