Bitter cold air moves in behind an arctic cold front which pushes through mid-Missouri by late evening Monday. Winds will increase from the northwest at 20 to 30 mph gusting as high as 45 mph at times as much colder air moves in. Temperatures will drop into the low 10s by morning as winds diminish.

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 9 pm Monday to 6 am Tuesday for the possibility of strong winds to 45 mph. Motorists traveling on east-west roadways will experience strong cross winds. Lightweight outdoor objects will be blow around by the gusty winds.
