Storms from early morning continue to slide across the northern part of the state. An outflow boundary from these storms has pushed southward to near I-70 and will be the focus for additional storm development during the afternoon heating. The strongest storms which develop will be capable of producing hail up to the size of ping-pong balls and strong, damaging wind gusts along with heavy rain. These will weaken this evening as we lose our daytime heating. Additional storms are possible overnight but are not expected to be severe.
