More rain is on the way to Mid-Missouri as a cold front moves in from the west. Tuesday morning will start off dry but a few t-storms will be possible by afternoon and evening but would be very spotty. As we head into the overnight hours, a few t-storms will be possible with the best chance north of I-70. Severe storms are not expected Tuesday.
Storm chances increase Wednesday ahead of the cold front which will move through in the evening. Severe weather is not expected but a few strong storms with gusty winds to 50 mph, small hail and heavy downpours are possible. Rainfall amounts from Tuesday through Wednesday will range from a half inch to an inch and a quarter.
