Unseasonably warm temperatures hit Mid-Missouri
The high temperature in Columbia reached 74 degrees Sunday. This is only 4 degrees short of the record high, at 78. St. Louis did break their record high temperature at 80 degrees Sunday afternoon, the previous record was 78.
This warm up came right before colder air moving in behind a cold front. Our temperatures reached into the mid-to-upper 70s Sunday, but are expected to drop into the upper 30s by Monday morning. Temperatures for the work week will be right around average for this time of the year, with expected highs in the low-to-mid 50s.
