The evening severe threat from the Storm Prediction Center brings the moderate risk of severe storms farther south to I-70. with a slight risk of severe storms farther south. The probability of damaging wind, large hail and tornadoes has increased slightly.  A breakdown of the probability of wind, hail or a tornado shows damaging wind is the main threat with overnight storms, followed by hail and a low tornado threat. After midnight, a more organized cluster of storms could affect Mid-Missouri as they move in from the northwest. Damaging  wind of 57 mph or greater and heavy rain will be the primary threats with these storms although large hail and an isolated tornado are also possible.
