We haven't officially hit 90 yet this August but that should change this week as temperatures warm. Nights will become warm and muggy by the end of the week with overnight lows near 70. Mostly sunny skies and southerly winds will bring our daytime temperatures up into the upper 80s to near 90 with higher humidity.  There is still no rain in the forecast through the weekend.

August 2012 was much hotter with 20 days at 90 or above, 4 which were at 100 or higher. Our average monthly temperature in August 2012  came in 2.5 degrees above normal. Currently, our average monthly temperature in August 2013 is 4 degrees below normal.
