The heat and humidity will stick around Wednesday with high temperatures climbing into the low 90s and heat indices near 100. There is a chance of a few early morning storms, mainly east of HWY 63 but those should dissipate by 8 a.m.  Additional storms are expected to to develop in the afternoon but will be spotty. A few of these could be strong or severe with the severe risk east of HWY 63, mainly closer to I-44. Damaging wind and large hail are the primary threats.
