Another winter storm will affect mid-Missouri Tuesday bringing snow followed by bitterly cold air. Snow will spread over the region Tuesday morning and continue through Tuesday evening, tapering off overnight. Snow amounts will be highest toward the northwest where up to 8 inches is expected with lower amounts toward I-44 with 2 inch totals.
Bitterly cold air settles in Wednesday and Thursday with high temperatures in the teens and nights near zero. Wind chill readings will drop as low as 15 below zero early Thursday morning.
