St. Louis postpones double-header after an increase in cases

MILWUAKEE, Wi (KMIZ)

St. Louis decided to postpone its Sunday double-header after an increase in positive COVID-19 cases on Saturday.

The Cardinals had to postpone games on both Friday and Saturday due to an outbreak in the clubhouse.

There are six positive cases of COVID-19 within the organization, three of which are players.

St. Louis is slated to meet the Detroit Tigers from Tuesday through Thursday in a four-game series, including a Wednesday double-header.
