Power restored to Boone Electric members

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: Power has been restored to all Boone Electric Cooperative members. A spokesman said the cause of the outage remains unknown.

ORIGINAL: More than 300 Boone Electric Cooperative members in southwest Columbia were without power Friday evening.

The utility reported several outages along Scott Boulevard between Chapel Hill Road and Vawter School Road. The outages began between 6 and 7 p.m.

A spokesperson for the utility said crews were on scene and the cause wasn't yet known.
