CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. - Callaway County deputies arrested three people after serving search warrants near Mokane and Fulton on Thursday and Friday.
Authorities with the Callaway County Sheriff's Office said deputies investigated in the 7000 block of State Road O near Fulton and the 5000 block of River Hills Road near Mokane.
During the investigation in Mokane, deputies found stolen property, methamphetamine and other controlled substances.
While investigating near Fulton, deputies found stolen property from a Fulton business. With the help of the Fulton Police Department, a stolen vehicle was recovered in Fulton, related to the investigations.
As a result of the extensive investigations, deputies and police arrested Kristian Chudej, 31, of Mokane on Friday. Chudej has since been charged with the felony offenses of burglary (two counts), stealing (three counts), forgery and possession of a controlled substance (two counts).
Chudej was further charged with misdemeanor offenses of assault on a law enforcement officer, according to officials.
Law enforcement officials also arrested Jason Pattillo, 43, of Columbia as a result of the investigations on Thursday. Pattillo has since been charged with the felony offense of tampering with a motor vehicle, in addition to a misdemeanor stealing offense.
Deputies said Pattillo was also wanted in reference to a Boone County felony warrant for stealing when he was arrested.
During the portion of the investigation in the Mokane area, a third person, Joseph Lovell, 35, of Mexico was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies said the investigations are ongoing and more arrests or charges are possible.
