COLUMBIA, MO (KMIZ)

The City of Columbia Clerk’s Office is now accepting applications for boards and commissions.

If you want to apply, the City Clerk’s Office needs to receive applications by 5 p.m. on Oct. 9. Applications are available on the City’s website at CoMo.gov on the City Council page.

Boards and commissions are a way for residents to be involved in local government and to represent the voices of their fellow community members.

The following are current boards and commissions openings:

  • Board of Adjustment
  • Citizens Police Review Board
  • City of Columbia New Century Fund Inc. Board
  • Climate and Environment Commission
  • Columbia Housing Authority Board
  • Columbia Vision Commission
  • Commission on Cultural Affairs
  • Community Land Trust Organization Board
  • Housing and Community Development Commission
  • Personnel Advisory Board
  • Public Transit Advisory Commission
  • St. Charles Transportation Development District Board
  • Substance Abuse Advisory Commission
  • Tax Increment Financing Commission
  • Youth Advisory Council
