Trump campaign postpones future events

WASHINGTON (KMIZ)

President Trump's campaign announced Friday afternoon all future campaign events are being postponed or being moved online after he tested positive for COVID-19 late Thursday night.

Trump's campaign manager, Bill Stepien, said on the president's campaign website all events involving the Trump family have also been temporarily postponed.

Stepien said more infomation about future events will be made in the near future.

The post added Vice President Mike Pence will continue his campaign schedule as planned after testing negative.

Trump made campaign stops in Minnesota and New Jersey after Tuesday night's debate with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The former vice president and his wife were tested for COVID-19 but the results came back negative.

Biden will continue campaigning Friday with a stop in Grand Rapids, Mich.
