Home damaged in Sunday afternoon central Columbia shooting

Police found damage to a home and several casings after being called to a report of shots fired Sunday afternoon in central Columbia.

Officers were sent to the 800 block of Hirth Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday. No injuries were reported in the shooting, police said in a news release.

Several people told officers that a gray, four-door sedan was possibly linked to the shooting. Police say they have no description of the shooter, though.

No other details were released.
