Arrest made in Break Time theft

More than two dozen items stolen

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Boone County Sheriff's Department arrested Nicholas Clark after he allegedly stole about 30 items from a Break Time in Columbia.

According to court documents, a deputy was called to the Break Time at Highway AB in Columbia Sunday in response to a suspicious person. When he arrived on scene, he found Clark sitting next to the building, and when the deputy approached him, Clark fled on foot. Clark did not respond to the deputy's commands, and led him on a short foot chase before he was apprehended.

The deputy found about 30 stolen items from the Break Time on Clark. Those items added up to an amount more than $750.
