Police find shell casings, damage in north Columbia

Shots heard report came in at about midnight

COLUMBIA, Mo. - A residence and a vehicle were hit by gunfire over overnight in a residential area of north Columbia.

Columbia Police Department officers were sent to Dove and Antelope drives on a report of shots heard at about midnight and found several shell casings and damage to a residence and vehicle in the 3300 block of Dove Drive, CPD spokesman Jeff Pitts wrote in an email. 

No one was injured and no suspect information was available, Pitts said.
