COLUMBIA, Mo. - The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather team issued a Weather Alert Day for Tuesday evening into Wednesday as snow and ice are expected to affect mid-Missouri.
Columbia Public Works said its Street Division has been monitoring and preparing for the expected snowfall.

Missouri State Highway Patrol tweeted, asking driver's to be prepared for Tuesday evening's commute because slower speeds could be necessary.
Another round of winter weather is expected to impact central Missouri in the next 48 hours. Troopers responded to numerous crashes Friday afternoon after the snow storm. The Missouri Department of Transportation encouraged drivers to check the MoDOT traveler map before they head home for the evening.
