ST LOUIS - Five-star prospect Aijha Blackwell has committed to play for the Mizzou women's basketball team. The St. Louis native announced her decision on social media.
ESPN ranks Blackwell as the 8th best player in the 2019 recruiting class. She is the No. 1 ranked player in the state of Missouri. Aijha is the daughter of former Mizzou running back Ernest Blackwell.
Blackwell is a senior at Whitfield High School. As a junior, she averaged 24 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals per game.
She chose Mizzou over Louisville and Kansas.
