COLUMBIA, Mo - Kelly Bryant is headed to the University of Missouri. The former Clemson quarterback made the announcement Tuesday night on social media.
Bryant played three full seasons at Clemson, compiling a record of 16-2 as a starter. He led the Tigers to the College Football Playoff in 2017.
The 6'4" quarterback started the first four games for Clemson this season, but he ultimately decided to transfer after losing his spot to freshman Trevor Lawrence.
In 2017, Bryant threw for 2,802 yards and 13 touchdowns. The South Carolina native also ran for 665 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Bryant, a graduate transfer, will be eligible to play for the Tigers next season.
Also on Tuesday, former Arkansas wide receiver Jonathan Nance said he will transfer to Mizzou.
Nance is a 6'0" wide receiver from Gulfport Miss. In 2017, he caught 37 passes for 539 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Razorbacks.
