Quiet weather continues this week

THIS AFTERNOON: Beautiful afternoon looks to be in store. Expect upper 70s/low 80s with lots of sun. Milky skies, especially along and south of I-70 is upper-level smoke that continues to filter into the area from wildfires out west. We're expecting to stay dry.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies overhead will lead to a cool night again, with lows in the upper 50’s.

EXTENDED: Another similar day in store on Tuesday. Might see a few more low 80’s but it’ll still be a pleasant afternoon. A disturbance lifting out of Texas will make it here by Wednesday, bringing a few more clouds and some light rain chances. Not looking like anything terribly impressive, with a better bet to get wet southeast in the viewing area. Another shot at some showers moves in Thursday along a frontal boundary. This too doesn’t look like a major event but something to track toward the middle of this week. Behind that frontal boundary, temperatures will be knocked back again into the middle 70’s for Friday. It’s looking like we’ll keep the beautiful weather around for next weekend, if you need something to hold on to throughout the week.
